89 TWIN PLUG STARTING PROBLEM
Not sure where to go for this one. My 89 Ranger twin plug has been running fine every once in awhile there would be a miss while acelerating. This morning started up and the check engine Lt was on and the tach was not operating, headed off to work, seemed to be running fine, check engine Lt stayed on with the tach not operating the 30 mile drive. Got to work and turned the ingition off, then tried to restart, no go, would crank but not fire. Just towed the rig home. Will check for spark in the morn and fuel. Feel that somthing gave out. Not sure where to start, book talks about eec quik test, not sure what this is, any one have a link to test procedures.
Looks like I'll just have to run the 74 F250 for awhile, any tips would be a help.
