Flashing?
Hi everyone,
Say that you install a performance module on your truck or a computer chip and then go to Ford to get the system flahed with the latest update... Will it effect the chip or module. Also, say that you put a chip in the truck, upgrade your tire size and then head to the dealer to have the computer programmed to the larger tire size, will that cause a problem with the chip or a module?

What you would do is remove the module or tuner program and then take the truck to the dealer for service.
Once the service is complete, then reinstal said module or tuner program.
Even if the dealer doesn't void part of your warranty when they see the module or tuner program in the truck, they still don't want to work on it because they might spend time troubleshooting your aftermarket mod. So they have for some members here, requested that they remove the tuner program before going ahead to do the work.
