I would like to replace the grey drivers seat cover on my 94 Aero. Many years ago I ordered and replaced a rear seat cover, after a box of crayons melted on the seat. All I remember was the cover came from Windsor, not sure if it was Canada or US. Does anyone know were to get OEM covers?
I went to redo the driver seat on my 90 Aero, light brown int., the insert matieral was no longer available from Ford. The upostery shop that did the work could only get the insert matieral from a clearing house and they wanted $300 a yard and I needed a year and a half. I went to a local upostery supply and fond a bolt of couch matieral that was a near perfet match for $10 a yard, bought all they had. the outer part of the seat matieral is still available for Ford and my shop could get it for $60 a yard, only needed 1 yard for that part. It turned into a 8 week ordeal to redo the driver seat for my wifes birthday and then my Wife says that she could of done it just as good on her own. Good luck. Allen
i'm facing redoing the seats again also.the covers i put on are wearing. the elastic straps are stretched out. i think i'll just go "camo" and try to make them my self. any one know of a source for the seat cusion block, there ought to be somewhere on line that will supply upholstery stuff for the do it your self-er. rick

i've poked around in fabric stores, but never found foam of the same density as the bottom pieces we sit on. i figured it must be different than the garden variety..? still looking ............... rick
Refrigeration supply houses have neoprene in flat sheets one inch thick, you could glue them together. They have the glue too. Never thaught about using it on my work truck seats. I know they use it on mass transit seat cushions.
