2003 6.0 performance problems
I have changed the oil & filter every 4,000 miles
The problems I have with it is the following
poor fuel mileage (11 mpg in flat Florida & not pulling a trailer)
exhaust smells soooooo bad it will gag you (bitter smelling fumes)
a definite "LAG" (turbo lag) when accellerating
an intermitten miss / rough idle
I have had it inb for service 3 times for the same concerns, the dealer said twice it was a bad sensor and the third time a bad ground.
I asked it the turbo could be causing the poor mileage and performance and the deal said the turbo is FINE.
How can I tell if a turbo is bad??
Why does the exhaust smell soo bad??
any ideas / thoughts are appreciated.

What did the dealer do for maintenance? What sensor did he replace? While mileage can be all over the map for a bunch of reasons, 11 mpg unloaded does seem pretty low. Have you done any mods like tires, lift kits, etc to your truck?
