Do you have the 4.6 ? When I did mine with the left block plug, threaded one, and radiator plug pulled still had almast a gallon of coolant still in the engine. Blew the coolant out with a shop vac. and alternating with a garden hose, on the pulled heater hose connection to the right side of the engine. Make sure your radiator cap is on and you have a catch can under the removed hose or you'll blow coolant onto your paint. Hook the hose back up, reinstall the plugs. To get the air out measure 100% antifreeze to half the volume of your coolant system and add it to the sealed overflow tank. Run the engine with your heater going and squeeze the upper radiator hose. Don't put any water in till you get all the antifreeze in, measured to half the volume of the system. I filled & flushed my engine three times with RO water, then drained and filled. I added less than a quart of RO water after the antifreeze was in.

Reverse Osmosis, its very close to distilled, but is cheaper. Did you pull the block plug(s)? Mine only has one on the left (drivers) side. Its directly below the freeze plug, looks like brass, (is soft steel) and you can see the threads behind the hex. Used an 11mm, six point socket, an 11/16" will also fit. Make sure your engine is cooled off before flushing. I used a box fan on a dolly to hasten the cooling.
