is there anybody who makes extendable mirrors for an 03 SCrew? I checked some of the retail websites and all of the extendable type mirrors do not fit the SCrew model. I had heard that the clip on or slip on type of mirrors vibrate and are useless when at cruising speed. I was hoping to get some opinions on whether this is true. What do you all use?
Thanks for all replies.
Chris
I wonder if you should maybe call someone that makes the mirrors or sells them and see what they have to say. I'm not sure why the mirrors wouldn't fit on a SCrew.
Thanks Racerguy. i checked out the threads that you suggested. I don't know why they didn't show up when i did a search of this site. Anyway, looks like i'm going to have to buy the clip on type. the mckesh brand looks interesting. Thanks again and I hope others will post opinions as well!
Chris
I worked on a Screw and a Scab today at work so I took a look at the mirrors. The SCrew has a thick black plastic moulding at the bottom of the window and the Screw doesn't. It looks like the mirrors would interchange but you'd probably have a gap where the moulding butts up against the mirror.
