Uhhh.... not sure if it is the same as on my 88' 2.3L. I looked for it for a while too. Take a look between the front of the valve cover and the alternator and look down. There should be a vaccum hose (~1/2") going from the bottom of the intake and snaking down the front of the engine.

when you are standing in front of the truck, look on the other side of the upper intake about where the upper and lower intake bolt up and you will see a black hose w/ an 90 degree bend in it. the pcv valve is there.

I'd follow the (about 5/8") hose down from the underside of the upper intake manifold to underneath or in front of the intake, and the PCV is 'inline'. The replacment may have an elbow, but you can discard it. There is (on most) an air/oil separator on the block, under the intake, that connects thru the PCV to the intake. It is just in front of the oil filter, directly under the intake manifold.
