'02 Ranger Speed Limiter
I'm new to this kind of stuff, so if this sounds like a stupid question forgive me.
All I really want to do is remove the speed limitation on my truck. I figure I can't really go ask the dealer to do it.
In other words...
Does anyone know any shops that will do such reprograming, or will I have to go buy a tuner?
If I do need to buy a tuner which ones will work for a 4.0L auto '02 Ranger XLT SC 4X4

From what I have read so far from manufactor's sites is this. Once you tune your vehicle with a new tuner you cannot re-program another vehicle until you re-install your original program. Is this true with all tuners? Is there a chip out there that will change shift points only? I'm happy with performance but would like to see lower RPMs for my 95% city driving.
