E-Brake ?
i have a 98 ranger 4x4 3.0 auto and for the first time my brake light in my dash goes off every once in a while and for no apparent reason and i was wondering what could be behind this if u have any suggestions plz let me know

mine doe sthe same thing....usually when i hit a bump. I just pull the parking brake release and them push up on the parking brake with my foot. Sometimes it goes down just a tap when you hit a bump, and turns on the light, but its down so little, it won't go up just by releasing the e brake handle. just have to kinda push it up. At least thats what happens on mine..
