Hey, I was wondering if anyone out there was having the same problem as me on a lariat with heated leather seats. I have almost 5,000 miles on it now, but all the sudden my drivers seat is starting to look real crappy. The center part of the lower part of the seat looks real loose and wrinkled. I have applied conditioner on the leather a couple of times. I think the seat just looks bad. I was also wondering if the heat from the heated seats is causing this. I use the heated seats a couple times a week now because of the cold weather. Anyone else have the same problem with their seats?
No problems here either! I have 10,000 + on my screw and lately I use the seat heaters daily, gotta love the upper mid west in December. Seats still look the same as the day I drove off the stealers lot. I also clean and condition them at least once a month.
'04 SCrew Lariat with 8K mi. I too am starting to notice the front part of the drivers seat seeming to stretch and wrinkle. The rest of the seat seems to be pretty good though I have a seam that appears to be pulling out a little bit. Planning on bring it up to the service department when I take it in for the 10K maint. schedule.
EZLariat, what color leather do you have? Wonder if it has to do with the color as leather grade can be different depending on what color it is dyed. I have the tan interior.
