Loosing poneys

I have an 84 f250 diesel, converted to a flatbed. That seems to be loosing power. Is there anything not to expensive that I do?

I have also noticed that 4-wheel drive doesn’t always seem to be engaging. This is a problem in winter. I hope it’s not too serious.<O

cut off any mufflers and run straight pipe,make sure your t-case is full of oil,those early front hubs are junk,the 87-on are alot better at locking and unlocking.

Thanks for the reply. I have talked to my dad about straight piping it. But wasnt sure how much we would get out of it.
