So thats the one that was in the carnage of the year poll? Thats awesome. I would have loved to have been there when that thing let go.
And for Randy, Its a transfer case sitting in the back of a pickup bed and it is literally busted in half. As in the case is in two pieces and you can see the chain and the other internals of it. There is also a random miscelanious gear or sprocket of sorts on the edge of the pic, but i dont know exactly what it is.

dang, thats nuts. i like the pic. i always say, if you've got the replacement parts, theres nothing that sounds as good as breaking your weak link. did that feel good when it gave?

lol the 205 is SLOWLY slippin in! my biggest obstacle wil be re-working the driveshafts which comes next on my list. the crossemember will be easy....i just haven't done it yet.

actually i was yanking pretty hard on my buddies truck cause he was buried and it was in front of a crowd and the testosterone was pumping and their were some dang fine ladies in the crowd so i gave it all she got. when it broke i knew exactly what the noise was and when i got out (i had the doors off) i was smiling from ear to ear and everyone thought i was weird!

That is some crazy stuff. Was it already cracked? Or did you just destroy it in one try?
The icon is supposed to be a smile in case it ends up as something else. Hope the webmaster labled these icons right.
