E-150 engine light codes

I have a 96 E-150, 5.8L with 188K miles. All O2 sensors have been replaced within the last 5 years (140K miles). The check engine light came on, and the repair shop which read the codes gave me the numbers, but didn't tell me exactly what they were. There are two: P0153 and P1151. I've been told they are oxygen related, and that it's probably not the sensors since they've all been changed since we've owned it, and that it's probably the catalytic converter. The van runs slightly rough at idle, and started knocking last summer. We switched to 93 octane gas and it doesn't knock anymore. Anyone know what exactly the codes are, and have suggestions as to what I should do? TIA.

I'd ask for a description of what the codes indicate. It sounds like a bad MAF meter to me.

is the MAF sensor the same as the MAF meter? It turns out I did have two bad O2 sensors - two of the ones we had replaced were replaced with after-market sensors which didn't fit quite right, and were sort of "made" to fit. He says that's why they didn't last. He also suggested the knocking problem was due to the MAF sensor.
