98 Explorer won't start.......help please!!

My 98 Explorer won't start if I let it sit for more than one day......battery and alternator test good.. ???? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

It turns over, but won't Start? I am assuming you do eventually get it started, and as long as you drive it Daily you don't notice a Problem? If this is the Case, I would Check out the Feul System. Probably Loss of Pressure in the Fuel Line causing the Gas to run back into the Tank if it sits too long. This can be caused by a bad injector letting air back in, a small vacuum leak, or a bad seal on the fuel pump.

Do you have any after market stereo equipment installed? My nephews system had the booster amp wired directly to the battery, not through the ignition. His battery went dead if not driven in two days. Sounds like you may have an electrical draw on the battery.

If you are sure it's not the battery or something draining it, then check: Is the starter engaging? If not clean battery terminals. Take a jumber cable from Battery to starter just to check if it will turn over. If so replace cable from battery to seloniod. Corrision inside the terminal, not visible will create a high resistance. I'm assuming it's not turning over.
