Check your fluid level sensor. It could be stuck on empty, or the circuitry could be shorted, open, or whatever. Also, check the abs sensor in the top of the differential. When it gets cold or wet, brake dust gets gummy or hard and can screw things up inside the drum, and particles can get on the surface of the sensor, which can play hell with things too.

I have a 88 f-150 4x4 and have the same problem with the anti-lock light staying on in cold weather. Sounds like sensor sticking. I noticed if I would hit the brakes and stop quick the anti-lock light would go out.

There are a few sensors in the anti-lock braking system. One on each wheel, one on top of the differential housing, and one on the transmission as well. I had problems with the one on the top of the diff housing on a work truck, and had it replaced several times due to cold/wet weather.
