power door locks
I have a 1990 F-150 Supercab. I have power locks. My passenger side actuator is bad. I've seen power actuators on E-Bay selling anywhere from $6 - $15. I also seen them that cheap on other websites as well. But a search for a replacement (A1Electric.com) for my year model truck, they run anywhere from $40 - $50. My question is this, will these cheaper actuators (possibly sold as part of an alarm sytem) work on my truck or are they just that - cheap actuators?

I was just going over the spread sheet I keep on my 85. I put a cheap set of power locks in my crew cab about 7 years ago. ($49.) Still running strong, I can't say that about cheap window motors.
