newer frame width the same?
Hi,
new member here.....I'm looking to put a heavy duty hitch on my 84 E150, and have found a newer one,94, but was informed it is different than what I need.
I can see how it is made different to work w/ the spare stored underneath, but is the width of the frame the same to bolt it up?
Mine measures <-------39 1/2"---------> on center, bolt hole to bolt hole in the frame. I can see older version not working on newer models, but need to know if newer model type will work on my 84.
