Manual Trans fluid
Hi I'm new to the diesel market and FTE. GREAT SITE! I've just purchased an early '99 with 6 spd and 95,000 miles. Can anyone give me info on a better fluid for the trans instead of Mercon?

Welcome to FTE! This question was asked a couple of weeks ago. I heard alot of goods things about redline MTL being used in the higher milage zf-5 trannys. In the upper right hand corner there is a search function. Do a search and you will probably come up with tons of info on this topic. I currently run Mobil 1 synthetic ATF.
