INJECTORS, are they all the same?
Asking information for a buddy. He has 2001 PWRSTROKE, is going to change #8 injector. He has access to a 99PwrStroke, with low miles. Are they injectors the same in the 99 as the 01? Do powerstrokes have different style injectors? Or are all the years the same?

the #8 inkector is differnt to take care of that idle knock, depending on when that 99 was built it might have differnt injectors in it. i think the late 99's would work but not 100% need to check the numbers on the injectors and make sure they match. you could call the guys at swamps diesel they will be able to tell you everything they are the injector nuts. or diesel injection service
