Gas Gauge issue
Hey Crew; This question pertains to my dad's 90 areostar 3.1 with 120000 miles on it, When you fill up the tank the gauge works but as you drive the gauge doesn't register until it gets below a half a tank and then works fine after that. Thanks in advance for the input..

Sounds like the sending unit is sticking. I would replace it. you can get a sending unit and pump in a kit at the local parts house. You can buy a pump without a sending unit but not a sending unit without a pump, at lease that is the way it is done here. Pulling the tank is not to bad, just wait until it is about out of gas to make it easyer.
