2.0L '85' Ranger question
I had an 1985 Ranger 2.0L for 9 years, and sold it after many years of good service. In it's later years, it developed a problem I never solved (neither could mechanics). On cool (32ish)mornings, in the spring and fall, when it was foggy, I'd start the truck and run it for about 15-20 mins...then all of a sudden it would loose power, spit and sputter. I'd pull it over, shut it off for 5 mins, and then never had probems the rest of the day. All other days it never happened.

2.0L '85' Ranger question
I owned a 1987 2.0 L ranger that did the same thing a couple of times. One day driving home from work in July ( it was 70 degrees and raining at the time), the truck started sputtering and losing power. I eventually made it home and turned the truck off. The next morning it started fine, and I never noticed the problem again for about a year. Kinda strange.
