I have a 1999 ranger 4x2 and I would like to know how much it would cost me to change it to 4x4 or if it's possible and who I would have to get in contact with if it is possible.

simple answer-a lot.
need to change the front suspension, add transfer case, add electronics or mechanics, change front hubs, change the front axle, and probably a boat-load of other things...probably cheaper to get a 4x4 from the start than to change over.

question

if you just need ground clearance just buy a lift kit, but if you really need all 4 wheels to pull buy another truck w/4wheel drive. adding 4-wheel drive not cost effective
