THANK YOU PCV tube replacement
My sincere thanks for all those on this and the Expy Forum who posted info on replacing the tube/boot assembly on the PCV valve assembly.
I had the classic rough idle, low mileage, check engine light with a lean front bank code.
After reading a few threads here and on the Expy forum, was convinced to start cheapest: PCV tube boot assembly, DPFE, then EGR replacement.
The PCV valve tube assembly did it! The boot at the back of the manifold was swiss cheeese.

Leave the negative battery cable off for at least 10 minutes to give the computer time to clear. Oftentimes a minute or so won't do it.
