I have a 4.2 Supercab. Does anyone knows the site where I can access on how to install a subwoofer box? I think I was able to find a site that shows the step-by-step instruction on how to install a box under the seat. '
i have a box under the rear seat of my 2002 supercab. i got it off of subbox.net and it just sldes under the seat and sits there. theres not much to installing one. just run the wires under the seat from your amp and then take the box and run wires on the inside from your terminals mounted on the box, wire up the subs, put the subs in the box then secure them with 1 inch drywall screws. take the wires you ran from your amp and then install them into the terminals on the outside of the box and then put the box under your seat and you are done.
I built a box that sits in front of the middle rear seat. Works awesome, and doesn't take up any usable space. It actually leaves more space as I can fill the middle seat with equipment.
I live in the Philippines and considering the high freight charges if I order them at subbox.net, I decided to build one for myself. I plan to put two 8 inch subs but from what you said guys, 10 inchers can fit. What brand of subs would you recommend?
I just noticed that you also had the post about door panels making noise. When you add the subs, it's really gonna get bad! If you go with 8's, I would recommend JL Audio.
The rattles occur only when I drive through rough roads. I already have a sub installed but its a powered sub that is commonly used for SUVs. So far I don't hear any rattles with the sub on.
My current sub eats up a lot of space at the back so I plan to install one that would fit below the seats so at least I can fit in some other stuff.
i was going to go with 2 12 inch kicker solo barics with the new kicker 1250 watt amp and the put a alpine componets in the doors then a kicker 700 watt amp for those. this will be so loud it will shake a hat off your head and could maybe even make your ears bleed.
but i think now i might go get my deposit back on the system and start saving for a new cobra when it comes out.
Hey, deckedoutf150...you have a hardcore truck man...i love that.
Just wondering, but where did you happen to find that front bumper?? I notice you still have half of the stock one and put the other one on instead of the stock plastic part...that thing is awesome. Where'd u find that?

that is the air valence off of a 2003 STX F150 and i added in the billit grill to match the top one. i just went to the ford dealer and ordered it from there then had it painted by a friend that works at a body shop. he put hardner in the base coat and clear so that it would not get rock chips in it. thanks for the complimants on the truck also and good look with yours.
the only reason i am going to start saving for a stang is because its what i have wanted since i was 17 and with me noe having 2 trucks this will be my chance as long as my 1997 F150 is not giving me any problems. then i will have a truck and a stang to fix up, lol. if the 1997 is giving me probs then i might have to get a super duty and wait on the stang once more.
P.S. if you have any questions on anything feel free to ask me.
