86 e-350 carb problems CONTINUE

Hi all.Here's an update to my carb problems.I got the kit I ordered & found the package had been opened(who knows what's missing)so sent it back.Got another one & found it incomplete. Got fed up & ordered from a different place.It too didn't have all the needed gaskets so I ended up needing two different kits to get everything.All was well until putting the carb back on it turns out there's still one base gasket I need,so am trying to get it now.At this rate who knows when I'll have it back on the road.If I had any hair left I'd be pulling it out.Only good thing is there's more fords in the driveway so I'm not walking!Will update when I have more.

Wow, in 86 that may be a computer controlled carb, so be carefull with it. You might think about going to a q-jet or edelbrock, both are good carbs, and will yield better power and fuel economy.
