2001 steering wheel

Mom has a 2001 ranger xlt 2wd and brother had a small mishap that set off the air bag. Since mom is very small in stature, 4' 11", I feel that it would be better to replace the wheel with a non air bag system. I found a Momo wheel that looks nice but I can not find any info on the steering wheel adaptor needed to install it. Have any of you installed a custom wheel on your 2001? If so can you share your experience?

Thanks
Steve

What if she's is in an accident and the passenger is hurt due to the lack of an air bag on that side, lawsuit.

The air bag is functional on the passanger side with an off-on switch. This is getting away from my question!

I think the system will shut down without the drivers side bag.
