Where does predator footprint hide?

I have installed a predator on 65hp mode in a 2005 6.0lPSD. I am pleased with the results sofar and don,t drive that hard too often. I was looking for fuel mileage. I have since been reading alot about these programers being found out by Ford service. Question is which computer (ecm, pcm?) do they send in for examination if a major claim (engine, trans etc) occurs? If I find a used virgin ecm or buy a new one and install it instead will it show a different mileage on the truck? Can I do anything other than erase codes and reinstall the stock tune through the predator to reverse my installation? I don,t expect a problem ,just want to be prepared if .

diablo leves no foot print behind. the dealer can no dectect that you have put the tune in your truck all you ahve to do is install the original factory tune and then either clear all the codes out of the computer or disconnect the battery cable for about 10 min i believe it is then reconnect it and there is not trace of it ever being in there.
