wipper,
Are you sure it doesn't get warm? I've noticed with my Ex that it takes a little while to melt the snow off. I thought they weren't working either at first, but they eventually did the job. They are big mirrors and take awhile to warm up I guess.

If it is a heated facotry mirrpor, I always thought heated factory mirrors had an icon on the glass indicating they had that capability. If I am correct, and, your mirrors have that icon on the glass, my guess is take it back to a Ford dealership and hope they leave you with enough $ to enjoy Xmas.

Well wipper,
It's time to take it back to the dealer. If one side worked and the other side didn't you may have a short or some wiring trouble. You may have a defective mirror element. Or it could be something else. But you definitely have a problem. So it's back to Ford for ya! Good luck!
