It looks to be pretty nice.
does anyone know if these came with 390's? Also, due to gas prices, I would like to put something like a 331 stroker in there because I would have to pick up another job for the 390 gas. My question about that is, what would I have to do to make the 331 fit in there right?

390 was the engine of the day. They also came with 302's, so you should be able to find parts for your swap.
But wait. A 331 stroker--are you going to warm it up, or just put it back together with a 2bbl and single exhaust?
Whilst a 390 has a good appetite for gas, you can buy a lot of gas for the cost of your 331, and the difference in mpg, unless you are going econo on the 331 build and putting in a OD, isn't going to be much.
Do your math on 8mpg vs 11 mpg and see how long it will take you to get your money back.

My plan is to build a 331 boss(if that can be done), which I will have to ask questions about in the preformace engine building section. I want to mate that with a possible tremec tranny. This is a long term project, but I am still not sure if I have the funding for everything now, so things might have to wait. Hopefully that guy doesnt sell his truck too fast.
