Good News!!!

Hey guys, for those who remember me, I am the one that had bought the 87 f150 that needed a new set of timing gears. (Straight 6 engine.) Well, I finally got around to replaceing them and I am gald to say IT RUNS!!!!! Looks like I lucked out on buying this truck for 200 bucks.

Thank you Chris! Just to let everyone know exactly how the gears looked, here's what happened to them. The fiber cam gear had about 7 teeth shredded off of it.Those missing teeth were right where the crank gear was. That is why the engine would crank, but the cam wouldnt move. lol. I was really impressed. When i went to start it up for the first time, it fired up after just touching the key. AFTER 6 MONTHS OF SITTING OUTSIDE! Looks like its true. These straight 6 engines are great motors. Now I just need to get some front pads for it and I'll be in the clear to drive it on the road safely.
