I have a 1996 explorer xlt and the front driver side blinker blinks rapidly. I know the rear drivers side is out and it is not the bulb. I need to know what the wire colors are for the rear blinker so I can test it. Do you think they would be the same color from the blinker socket all the way through the harness and going up front? Also I have a motorized antenna and it will not come up when I turn on the radio. I installed a non stock cd player and was not able to locate the antenna wire to hook up. Does anyone know how to raise it and leave it up?
Any feedback will help.
thanks

The driver's side wire will be lightgreen/white. Since your explorer has seperate amber turnsignals in the rear, yes the wire will be the same front to rear.
I know the rear drivers side is out and it is not the bulb.
As you already suspect, this is probably the problem. Some things I can think of are:
Improper bulb
Bulb installed wrong
Something caught down in the socket, shorting it out.
A wiring problem.
I think what I would do first is trace the wiring from the rear light away from the socket till you get to a plug where you can unplug it totally from the wiring. If the driver's side blinker slows down(it may even stop and stay on constantly), then you have isolated the problem to the rear area. Here's a diagram that may help you.
