Are you going to eliminate one of your stock tanks?
If so use option A, if not use option B.
Option A is just splice the supply and return lines into the new tank.
Option B is to run a transfer line from the bed tank to the stock tank with an electric fuel pump you can switch on and off while watching your guage, but this would make it easy to run the stock tank over if you forgot it was on.
Then there is option C.
Get a second selector valve and switch.
Cut the lines to one of the tanks and insert the valve.
Hook the lines from the bed tank to the other ports on that valve.
Now you can use all three tanks, but the bed tank can only be selected by having the stock selector set to the tank lines you cut.
Hi Dave;
These are all very good suggestions,Thank you very much,i have been considering option "B" with a spring loaded switch.Not sure how or where to tap into tank filler pipe.
91 350 henry, It is going to take some time to pump 15 gallons of fuel through and electric fuel pump. Possibly more time than you want to sit there with your finger on a switch transfering fuel. There are tons of pipe connections available to do this kind of thing, marine supply houses have some neat tank/ pipe connectors also.
Another option is use gravity to do the transfer, you just need an electrically operated valve to control the flow.
I found oversized tanks for my 86, 45 gallon rear and 22 gallon front equals lots of driving without stopping. But it is also a killer when the thing needs filled up from almost empty.
