Oval, I took the part # you gave me to my dlr.,got the cord for $37.00 ! Thanks !! Alan
Yikes !?! 37 bucks.
Hate to say this, but this sounds exactly like a Dodge dealer. Those guys want 35 + for a cord but if you go down to a Cummins distributor you can get the same cord for about 10 bucks.
I am willing to bet dollars to pesos that you can get your cord at an International distributer for about 10 bucks.
I was suprised the cord was only $37.00! Dlr said list was $63.00! I don't know of any International dist. here, I'm in middle Ga. Thanks for the reply, Alan
When I ordered my 250 psd it came with the block heater as stated on the window sticker. Beside the passenger tow hook is a plug that you plug an extension cord into. Does that mean I already have what I need and all I have to do it plug it in?

Yes, if you have the plug the heater is there. It draws around 1000W, that's $0.065/hr.

That is the list from International's website. I still don't agree with 37 bucks. A block heater cord is a common item.
I live in DE purchased in PA. I ordered it in May and took delivery in June 2004 and I have not checked but I assume it has a 04 engine or should I say hope!!
