Go to the '48 to '60 forum, read the sticky on front suspension conversions. Although these are earlier trucks, most of the info is useful for later trucks. IMO the Mustang II front end is too light for newer trucks. I put one in a '40 Ford, but that truck only weighed 2750 lbs. I like a front-end that is strong enough for me to continue using a truck as a truck.
you might be interested in the rear suspension i used on my truck. it is still being built but you can see in my gallery how nice a jag rear looks under one of these trucks. and since ford owns jag i guess i could still say its all ford?
