'01 flareside a stepside?
I bought a 2001 ranger ext. cab 4X4 last year. Great truck! I want to buy a tonneau cover for it but can't figure out if it's a "Splash" (dought it), flareside,
flareside edge, or something else. This is a short-bed and what i've always called a step-side. I rather suer the splash series ended prior 2000. Any ideas from the gurus? Thanks!

Hard to tell without a picture in your gallery, but Rangers continue to be available in both sytle side and flare side. When the Splash badge ended, the flare side box continued to be available on SWB and S/C Rangers without the Splash suspensions and other trim features.

"splash" & stepside & flareside are all the same bed. The fleetside is the straight sided bed. The splash bed started in 93 with the Splash package option. This bed hasn't changed from 93-04. I have a 93 Splash & an 01 flareside and the beds are the same.
