that's a joke for you old timers that remember bogart. but seriously, i have recently purchased a '86 "F-SUPER DUTY" diesel. it was manufacturered in 8/86. it has BADGES on the front fenders that just say: F-SUPER DUTY and then underneath it says DIESEL. the title says it is a 3/4 ton ford pick up; but there is no identifying badges other than the one above. my question is did ford actually make a 3/4 ton truck and call it a F-SUPER DUTY in '86 at the end of the production year, or did someone just find some badges for this one? it is an extended cab, xlt, lariat model; with an automatic.

The F-SuperDuty series was one step above the F350 and had a straight axle front end (as opposed to the twin I-beam) suspension.
If you don't have a straight axle the PO likely replaced the original emblems with what you have now.
