lockout problems
i was just wondering if anyone has had problems with there lockouts on there 99up superdutys. because mine will not work at all automaticaly and it is everything i can do to turn them by hand it feels like something in the vacume is messed up

One of mine is making considerable noise. I ahve removed the retainer ring, but am still having problems removing the lock out. Is there a trick? Was also warned that it can come out in several pieces and be hard to get back in.

Once you remove the ring it should just slide out......a couple of slight hits with a dead blow may help. Mine didn't really want to come out too easy so I tapped them a couple times and they slid right out.
