Correct U-bolts?

Correct U-bolts?
Does anyone know a supplier of the square top u-bolts for a F2? LMC sent me a generic curved u-bolt (@$14.95ea). These u-bolts looks like they will line-up, but has anyone used these on a orginal axle/spring setup? thanks

I had a set of four new u-bolts made to size for $27.01 (including tax) for my F-100 this past October. I had removed leaves from the rear and needed shorter u-bolts and was directed by my local NAPA dealer to get them at FLORIG Spring Shop located in Conshohocken, Pa. I don't know where you live but this place is west of Philadelphia (East Coast). Your price seems way too high. This place is a manufacturer of truck and trailer equipment. They did them as I waited - about twenty minutes. This also included the nuts and washers!! All hardened. The labor was $15 and the material was $10.48 plus 6% tax. I could not believe the price. Maybe you won't beat my price but you should pay a lot less than $15 EACH! By the way, the first one they made was a little bit round and I said they must be square and they tossed that one and re-did them. No problem. Good Luck.

You might check with a spring shop if there is one in your area. I think they can often make them. When I replaced the rear axle in my 54 f250 I re-used the old ones because I couldn't find any locally at the auto parts stores. I could have gone 60 milles to a spring shop and had new ones made.
