Will not run at operating temp.

Well here goes. First I have been reading and enjoying all the threads on this forum and learning something new each day. Have also used the search feature quite often. Here is my problem: 1997 F-250 HD 4x4 125,000 mi. Strictly stock. Truck will start fine and run well until the truck has warmed up then it appears as if the fuel stops flowing and truck will start to miss and sometimes shut down completely. If I let sit 30sec or so truck will start back up and run fine until I again try to power it up. Then again sometimes it will run fine all day but problem has started to occur more often that not.No cel and no codes have been detected on truck I have had them read 3 times. This is what I have done to the truck since problem has started. 1. Changed cam sensor, 2. Changed valve cover gaskets and wiring harness inside covers,3. Changed fuel filter,4. Changed oil & filter, Checked and disconnected ebpv and finally gutted cat. (love the sound of the turbo). Hopefully someone on this forum can point me in the right direction before I have to take to dealership.

PS If I hook up horse trailer Put truck under load it will do it right away and continue without relief.

Thank-you in advance for any help that you might be able to give.

Just a guess and maybe someone can verify but your injector o-rings might have gone south. Once your oil warms up and thins up they don't seal. I've seen other people on the forum with the same trouble using this fix.

How long does it run before it is "warmed up"? Mine usually takes about 1/2 hour at 60 mph to reach operating temp.

Have you cleaned your FPR screen? Check out Baz's web site (http://pages.prodigy.net/stevebaz/index.html) in the "Tip & Tricks" section for details on how to do this.

Craze,
Mine only takes about 15 min running time and thanks for the link, alot of info there.

ltfox thanks for the tip. I did search on topic and yes I feel that could possibly be it. will try that fix if not the problem will probably need to be done soon anyway and will also have fuel pump checked as alopez2 suggested.

Thanks guys for your quick response.
