360 question

ok i am planning to putting a 360 i bought into my 82 f150, everything isready to go and the motor just needs to be dropped in, anyways i want to do something to get a few more ponies, the motor has an edelbrock 600 cfm carb and some hedman headers, i was thinkin about putting a came and a new intake manifold on it, i am looking for more low end stuff, what would be my best options im not looking for anything to crazy

For a 360 the ideal cam is the Crane 343901. The edelbrock performer intake will work good on the 360.

If you really want power you should hold off and build it up to a 390.

i think your low compression is going to limit you in the cam dept. if at all possible upgrade to 390 components. that would raise your compression. then you could look into the crane 901 and 941 cams. they seem to be the most popular ones on this forum i believe. ive got the 941 and love it. lot of guys seem to like the edel. rpm intake, but youd have to port the heads to get the ports to lineup.
