SRW to DRW?

I got a friend with a 99 F-350 SRW 4x4 cab and chassis. I was wondering how difficult it would be to convert to a dually. He doesen't care about the front wheels being different, he would just carry two spares. The truck originally had a box on the back if that makes a difference(frame width would be wider than a true cab and chassis I think) Thanks for your input!

Look for a Dana 80 dually axle from a junked '99-'04 F350 DRW pickup. Try local junkyards, the parts and equipment trader, and online junkyard parts locators. Don't forget to get the springs too!
