I'm paranoied (spelling) I changed it again from you guy's recommendations. I had to clean the canister out like three times and wipe out the mounting surface a few times in order to keep it from leaking don't laugh but it took me 2 hours to change it due to it wanted to leak as soon as I hit the key and fuel pumps primed. I finally got it to stop (I hope) but I have to go under it every 10 minutes to check it(paranoied).
I used a WIX and the old one was kinda dirty but not real bad and it seems to run no diffrent.
as far as air filters go are the O'Riely Micro Guard any good? That what it's got on it I changed it out out 500 miles ago

Most brands of fuel filters work fine. I Know that the 86 has a different aircleaner set up than the 87-up, but I think that the air cleaner top is the same. A local junkyard should have one.
