Shift problem
I just bought a 99 automatic 4x4. From a dead stop I am getting a noticeable shift 'lurch'. It seems that the transmission is slipping into gear each time I accelerate from zero. Is this normal? This is the first 4x4 that I've owned.

Shift problem
Does it feal like a clunk when you take off or does it realy slip. I have a 98 4x4 ext cab. I have had if for about a month and it does clunk when you take off. I have checked the u-joints and they are fine. It looks like the slip yoke sticks and when you take off it feals like the trans drops into gear.
