Pre-pump filter for intank mod

Ordered the intank mod kit today for 2000PSD. They reccomend a pre pump filter for this. Is there an inline filter that will work with diesel fuel for this?

If I'm reading you right, it's just a sock strainer type filter. May be able to use the existing one.

From what I read, I will be eliminating part of the screen from the intank setup and they reccomend a filter between the tank and pump of 30 or 75 micron to protect the pump.

Dahl and Racor make elaborate water spearator filter set ups.

Go with one of the following: 5/16 inlet/outlet, plastic body.
Purolator 50154
NAPA 3007
Delco: GF501
Fram: P6446

i would go with the dahl or racor setup so its easy to change a clogged filter and it will bypass if theres too much back pressure most of thoose inline filters wont bypass. ive got the dahl on my truck now my regular filters stay much cleaner much longer. the dalh takes all the sediment and water out before it gets to the other filter and the filter elements are $6
