Changing plugs 5.4
Just got a quote of $175 to change all plugs including parts. Truck is a 99
5.4 SC. I know the special aspects of this job but in the interest of
simplicity I might go this route. The lack of threads in the heads have me scared. Does this sound like a good price? The dealer is the one where I bought it new. Now its got 99,000 miles. They said they will back it up for 12 months or 12,000 miles.
I also am getting them to change the heater hoses at the same time. I might get a break on the labor if they are already in there. Right now I carry two hoses in case of a out of town breakdown. Might as well get them installed at the same time.
Any thoughts?
