How do you install a tach on a 92 f150 I-6 i have a freebie tach that came out of a peterbuilt that has a setting for 6cyl and was wondering how to install it.

The tach takes it's reading from the negative terminal of the coil. If it's an electronic tach, it needs a 12v positive conection and a ground connection too.
