Another Stupit 10k mod question
I'm sorry to ask this.... i searched all the topic's but couldn't find the answer... i was wondering if this mod works on any year psd... (i have a 97 and it is the no intercooled year), also i have yet to throw on a set of gauges... will my egt's be ok for normal/highway use? thanks in advance!

Hey hondoshot.... to run it on a switch... do you just put a toggle between one side of the resistor and the wires connecting to the clip, thus breaking the circuit? or is it more complicated than that? also can i just hit the switch or do i need to shut the truck off, and then flip the switch?? i'd rather not fry anything electrical if i can help it... thanks!!

OK guys, I tried this mod today on my 02 PSD and all that happened was the check engine light remained lit. I removed mod and the light turned off. Is this mod not for an 02? If it will work am I just installing it wrong?
