I wouldn't look for stock set ups, since they prob built the car around the doors. Your truck has a frame to hold the truck. I'd contact some performance shops that do stuff like that

I just looked at Ford Bricklin that has Gull Wings that came from the Factory like that. The same support hinge will retro fit most trucks and cars. The hinge on the top comes out 1.5" and goes up 1.0" from the door frame. "These are center mount doors"

The problem is the center has to be supported from front to rear along the roof. Which is not that hard to fabricate in a van, But a car has no place to anker the rear to without make a cross support to the B pillar's but it can be done.

I know that there are kit car companies out there making replicas of the Bricklin. Maybe I could buy some henges from one of them.

I can build support braces. Thats doesn't bother me. If need be, I can still go back to my roll cage idea, and build the braces off that.

Watching Monster Garage today, there was a 19__ Firebird on there with the Ferrari Testarossa conversion. It was a unibody, and it had the gull doors, so there must be some strength on the separate body/chassis vehicles.

When you get thge gull wings, you should get pneumatic rams so you get that distinct hiss sound. Also, all you really need is an anchor hinge and a slide bolt to allow the 2 movements.

Just making a statement.

Lambo doors are to high for $1000.00, You can construct Gull Wings and have some nice doors for a about $500.00 more.

This is just a thought, what if you're at Wal-mart and someone has parked on each side of you? Be a bummer if you couldn't get in your own truck when each side is blocked. But, yes, something different like the gull wing doors would be awesome. Might have to park 2 miles away to go to the grocery but hey, it's worth it.

Gull wings aren't too bad for that though, they slide toward the back more so than just flap open like a Lambo.

actually, gull wing doors done correctly don't come out as far from the side of truck as regular doors do. That is one of the reasons they take part of the roof with them, and don't just hinge at the top of the door.

I don't want lambo style doors because thats all you see anymore. They have become more popular than suicide doors.

how about you cut the door in half, put hinges on the bottem and the top. and put stairs on the bottem one that fold out when it opens? that could get some looks and be definetly different

The half stair'd dooe might work, but the stairs will need to take up space, whick will end up inside when he shuts them. Plus when its rainy, muddy, etc., the mud comes inside, not a guys dream.
