Driver's license

I got my driver's license today!!! I'm so excited!!! I have been waiting awhile (I'm 20) My parents finally started realizing I'm growing up and able to drive safely. (They didn't think I was ready before this )

holy crap!! your folks wouldn't let you have a license? man, I was out on my own the day after graduation!! My folks practically kicked me out!! not really, I am just a bit confused why you didn't just get one yourself when you turned 18, no one could have said no (exept the DMV guy) anyway congradulations!!

and as far as not passing your test, no biggie, just be more assertive and don't let traffic intimidate you. you'll get it, good luck next time

yeah, don't worry about not passing. third time was the charm for me. the first i was a little nervous, mostly because i just didn't want to fail. the second time i was to relaxed and thought i would pass without a problem. the third time i done everything by the book and passed.

Congrats ranger rules

I had my sons driving by themselves when they were 13 and by the time they turned 16 both knew about as much as the instructor.

But, that was my first priority - I saw too many 16 yr olds that didn't know squat and were driving on public highways......

I'm 16, going for my license on the 21st. My mom got me driving at8 with our 91 explorer. I had it in the ditch 10 seconds later. So my mom was more cautious after that. Anyway, I've been driving steady since I was 9, and I drove a lot in the snow, so I know what to do. I've also had the privilege of driving a few of the bigger trucks, such as backhoes, and I got to steer and drive a dump truck:d

That's what I plan to do. I wanna drive trucks and heavy epuipment. And a mechanic, heavy duty one, so when my machines break, I won't be payin out the bum.

What is this World coming to?

Doesn't anybody get their license from the Cracker Jack box anymore? I remember buying those damn things by the case loads hoping that my license would be the prize inside.
Finally I found it. About time also, I was getting quite sick of eating Cracker Jacks.

Maybe, you didn't need to eat about 500 boxes of Cracker Jack's to become a licensed driver. Me, I've had Cracker Jack's maybe 4 times in my whole life.

Hey Congrats Ranger!
Now you can join a Chapter and really see what FTE is all about - enjoying our Fords!

And don't fret Ryan, it took me four tries before I got mine...parallel parking a station wagon isn't easy! LOL!

Good luck on your test too 97ford281...gosh so many new drivers out there - our beloved FTE should be growing by leaps and bounds!

Oh, I'll do good. But if I fail, I'm putting the car around a tree or pole.

When you're driving 5500 lbs. of steel with brakes off a Focus, you have to be careful,

EDIT:
My mom doesn't like how I do the speed limit. She;s the type you'll see tearing a Focus down the Trans-Canada at 160km/h. She nearly put a piston or 2 through the head when she got to 170km/h going down a hill. I woke up, it sounded like a plane going down, looked over, and I told my mom to slw the **** down. She definitely wasn't proud of my language, but I value my life, and I also like cars to last a little over a year.
