Valve Cover questions
I am looking to buy a set of valve covers for my dad for x-mas off ebay and am not quite sure what questions I should ask the seller. If anyone can suggest more questions I'd really appreciate it.

What are you looking for fancy or just plain chrome? Most of the Ebay stuff is pretty much is self explanatory. If its for a stock application just find a set you think your Father will like just make sure they are for the size engine he has, However if it's performance ie:it has roller rockers then if it is'nt stated ask if the covers will clear them. Thats about it good luck.

What motor are you buying for? You will want to know if they come with the grometts (sp?) for the openings, like the filler hole and PCV tube. Also, is the filler cap a push in or twist on, and does it come with a filler cap. For the most part, I believe them all to be baffled, but you can ask if they are anyway.

Okay, I asked if they will clear roller rockers, it a VERY hopped up 302. I found the set he'd die for, but the seller does not provide enough information. They are a set made for the GT 350, so did the GT350 come with roller rockers? Were they available then?
